  1. It is so amazing that you are harvesting things that have just started growing here. You are saving seeds from your turnips and radishes and I would like to know if you do beets as well. We were told by the producer of the seeds we bought this year, that if we want to save the beet seeds then we need to pull the beets up after they mature, store them and replant them in the spring and then take the seeds that they produce. Are you familiar with this practice?

  2. Sherri, yes, I'm trying to get some of my own beet seeds, but no, I hadn't heard that! Thanks for passing that on. I have a book on seed saving, so I'll have to do some research. I'll let you know what I learn!
