The soil amendments for the corn field arrived today.

Turned into a baking day:

• Loaf of sourdough bread. Used my usual recipe but added an egg since I have so many.
• Sourdough parsnip cake. I thought, if carrot cake, why not parsnip cake? If it turns out I'll have to post the recipe on my homestead blog
• Blueberry muffins. Not sourdough 'cuz I had to save a little bit to start the next batch. They are with our frozen blueberries, eggs, & whey. 

Harvested:

• parsnips, for the cake and for the goats
