The day had the feel of rain to it.

Found a few asparagus and strawberry plants and transplanted them into the new beds. Finished mulching the asparagus.

Harvested:

• thyme
• oregano

Started to cut the wheat & vetch from the patch at the bottom of the garden. The wheat is just starting to kernel out and is in the milk stage. This will be dried for hay. I read in Carla Emery's book about growing oats and peas together for hay, so we thought we'd give this a try. I got about a third of it done before chore time.
