I don't know why I didn't think to do this earlier - start a garden journal blog. I know the value of record keeping, but am terrible at keeping track of notebooks, and all the accompanying loose pieces of paper that happen to get scribbled on when I can't find the notebook. As it is, my first garden at our new place was pretty much just thrown into the ground. I was so happy just to have a garden again, and it was so late in the season, I figured that something is better than nothing. Now I wish I had drawn it out and kept track of what I was planting and when. So because I didn't, I won't be sure if those are cucumbers or squash plants coming up until they produce something! This blog should help with all of that.
