• identified fire blight on one pear tree.  treated as per Gardeners Organic Handbook of Natural Insect & Disease Control
• id'd some sort of small (Flea?) beetle on turnips. Sprayed with pyola
• sprayed aphids on broccoli & cabbage collards with pyola

• wheat turning brown, need to keep an eye on when to harvest it

Notes:

• Harvested one of my two pumpkins. Unfortunately the bottom had a hole and had been ruined by some kind of larvae. The hole was larger than the ones from pickleworm.
• The pecans don't appear to be ready to harvest, but the squirrels are doing them in at an alarming rate. Will there be any left for us???
