Sourdough Blueberry Pancakes

2 cups starter (I use whole wheat)
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp oil or fat (I used melted bacon grease)
1/4 cup unbleached flour
1/4 cup whey
1 cup thawed blueberries

Mix and cook like ordinary pancakes. Serve hot with butter and syrup.

Recipe Notes:
My starter was pretty thick, like muffin batter. The additional flour and whey were added as adjustments to get the consistency I wanted. First I added extra flour, but too much, so I added the whey. Milk or water could be substituted. I'm thinking if I can get the starter at the right consistency, I wouldn't need either of these.
