Looked like rain or snow this morning. Sunny and windy this afternoon.

Planned to rake leaves and mulch another bed. It was so windy though that it kept blowing the piles of leaves I raked. Instead, I finished transplanting the top half of the asparagus row. Really the soil was too wet to do that, but it needs to be done before the asparagus starts to sprout. Mowed the wire grass in the bed, bagged it, and dumped it in the chicken coop for more litter.

Eating: leftover black turtle beans, tomatoes, and okra, and cracklin cornbread.
