- baked a spice cake with frozen persimmons, fresh eggs, kefir (recipe here)

- homemade bread (but not homegrown)

- meatball sandwiches (meatballs not ours but the spaghetti sauce was)

- and of course the cake
Had to look up mangels. I always learn something here.
ReplyDeleteThe goats really like them. Mine didn't grow as big as advertised, but I plan to keep them in the garden. I've tried sugar beets too, but they didn't sprout.
