Beautiful day. I would have loved to work outside but Dan was working on the bathroom and I needed to be on standby in case he needed help. 

Did a little weeding when I went out to collect salad ingredients for dinner, but the ground is still muddy. Harvested for salad:

• lettuce
• broccoli
• kale

Added our own pecans and some store bought dried cranberries. 

It's nice to have plenty of milk, cream, butter, and eggs to cook with again. Made scalloped potatoes and ham with our milk and butter. (To go with that salad)

Harvested & dehydrated in the wood cookstove oven:

• dandelion greens
• kale

These are for my goat's herbal vitamin & mineral mix.
