Harvested:
- volunteer parsnips (thinnings). We ate boiled parsnips for dinner which were delicious. The goats got the greens but were not impressed.
- mangels for the goats
Eating the food:
- frozen chicken for dinner. One of the Buff Orpingtons. I'm not impressed with this breed as egg layers, but they are delicious as a meat bird
- those boiled parsnips
- canned applesauce in cake, also fresh milk, frozen eggs, and kefir
- Saturday's soup for lunch
- goat cheese
