Some of the herb seeds I planted the other day are beginning to sprout:

• wormwood
• marshmallow
• sweet basil

The window cover I had for my "cold frame" leaked quite a bit in last night's rain so the egg cartons are soaked. I emptied out the water from the tray and am hoping my little seeds don't drown.

Harvested for drying:

• dandelion leaves
• spearmint
• chickweed
• horehound

Harvested to feed to goats:

• parsnips
• chicory

Harvested for salad:

• lettuce
