It had been two days since I'd harvested figs so many of them were overly ripe (need to be picked every day). Firmer ones do better for canning, so I decided to try freezing them. I washed them and laid them out on cookie sheets before placing in the freezer. I'm thinking these will be good for muffins and cakes.
