- applesauce, 7 pints canned
- plummy fig sauce, 6 pints canned
Finished cooking the fig sauce this morning. It was still a little bland, so I wondered what I could do. I remembered the 14 plums I'd picked from the plum tree's first ever harvest. I cooked them down in some of the fig sauce and ran it through my Foley food mill.
Processed the apples I cooked yesterday with my Roma sauce maker. It made applesauce making a breeze, compared to doing it all in the Foley.
